There are many religions the world. Some are seemingly benign, but may support actions taken which run contrary to achieving peaceful human relations. This unit will explore some conflicts which are in a significant way caused by religion.
We will discuss attitudes towards faith and spirituality. Then we will view a documentary on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This video is important as it provides us with valuable information about the significance of Islam in shaping foreign and domestic policy in this very important nation. As well you will be expected to read an essay discussing Christian fundamentalism and how it impacts on American foreign policies.
